Baby Bottle Campaign

Baby Bottle Campaign begins tomorrow as we recognize Sanctity of Life Sunday.  Join us in a month-long fundraiser benefiting the Pregnancy Resource Center by filling a baby bottle with loose change. This is an excellent outreach opportunity engaging children.  They can help by adding change to the bottles and praying for the resource center.  There is an insert included in each bottle with information about the Pregnancy Resource center and what the money collected can provide for them.  Bottles will be available starting this Sunday at the Welcome Table and collected on February 12th.  Check out the following link for more information about the Pregnancy Resource Center:  Richmond Pregnancy Resource Center

Children's Worship and Memory Verse

Below are  a couple clips of our youngest Children's Worship Class.  Each week the children have an opportunity to answer catechism questions.  We use the book First Catechism Teaching Children Bible Truths from Great Commission Publications.  Children keep their own books at home to practice with parents during the week.  On Sunday one of our Catechism Questioners will spend time asking the children the questions.  As a fun incentive for the children they have a chance to pick an item from the Catechism Store for every 3 catechisms answered correctly. We keep track of catechisms answered correctly using their individuals journals from class.  Children bring home a slip each week indicating the questions answered along with the one they need to begin working on for the following week.  A good method for keeping track at home is to have children place a sticker in their own books indicating the questions answered correctly.  This is fun for the children in addition to helping them tangibly see what number they need to be reviewing.

Memory verse for Sprouts and Seekers for January
