Summer Fun

Join us next Sunday evening, August 5th for Summer Fun at Chickahominy Oaks Pavilion from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.  There will be a kickball game for those interested.  If you would prefer not to play kickball a craft will be available as well as a great playground.  Icecream sundaes will be served at the beginning of the evening.  Water will be available too.  Please RSVP to julie@gcpres.org.  RSVPs are greatly appreciated to plan accordingly for the icecream.

I hope your children have been enjoying the nightly Treasure Maps that are sent home.  This is a great way to go over the information with your child and reinforce what they heard during the evening.

Kids Give Back - Pirate Skit

Captain Hook and Smee are a couple crazy characters in the Kids Give Back skit.  We begin the evening each night with the skit and then it is followed by games, treasure hunt, music, and lessons.  The Bible lesson helps to emphasize why we give back and aren't greedy with our possessions.

For those interested in spending some time outside this weekend in the 100 degree temperatures join us at the Flying Squirrels Game on Sunday. We are still planning on it!

  Free for Kroger Squirrels Tails Kids Club.  Little League Bat Bag Giveaway for children 14 and under for the first 2,000.  We will be sitting in section 213.  Please let me know at julie@gcpres.org if you are planning on attending.

Children's Worship: Both classes will have an opportunity to say their catechism answers on Sunday.
