I always enjoy the month of February when we spend a focused amount of time praying for all our mission partners we support at GCPC. Please read over the following announcement which provides details regarding information beginning this Sunday, February 1st.
Grace Kids Packet:
Loving Our Mission Partners
#1 Use the Mission Partners Display located as
you enter church to show children the mission partners we support. There are
pictures of the mission partners we support by the following 3 categories: International, Domestic, and Church
Planting/Mercy Missions. I encourage
you to point out the different categories to your children and help them
understand the MANY different locations people serve.
#2 Take a Prayer Card each week during the
month of February. Each week the prayer
cards will highlight different mission partners.
#3 Where is Our Missionary? Grace Kids Packet – A packet will be provided
to all children in order for them to identify the location of our mission
partners by coloring, highlighting and/or writing in the space provided on the
maps. The children can use the map handout each week to find the locations listed
on the weekly prayer card.
#4 Family Letter – Please select one mission partner each week
from the prayer card and work together as a family to send a note of encouragement
or have your children draw pictures on the cards. Your children can let them know in the letter
that they are praying for them. All
letters will be collected and mailed out at the end of the month. I would like to encourage each family to do
one letter each week (total of 4) during Loving Our Mission Partners
month. There will be a collection box
for the letters by the Mission Partners Display.
