Thank you for supporting the First Responders and Hanover Safe Place during February. The teddy bears, nerf balls, and supplies will be handed out to both places for them to bless other children with the gifts. Sunday, February 26th will be the final collection day.

Advent Ideas
Advent Party
Date: Friday Dec. 23rd at 10:00 am. All are invited.
Gather outside to read scripture and act out the birth of Christ.
Join us to sing some carols and enjoy refreshments.
Children are welcome to dress up and participate as animals, shepherds or angels.
They can bring their own costume or use what we have on hand.
Looking forward to celebrating Jesus’ birthday together.

I love the Gospel implication listed out in 1 or 2 sentences with easy ornaments that children could make using clay. One of my favorite kinds of clay to use with my kids is the Sculpey Clay I find at Michaels. You can make small ornaments or figures easily with all the colors available.

"Family Book Club” Little Pilgrim's Progress by Helen Taylor.
Fantastic book to read aloud or read together as a family.
The book is a simple adventure story and an allegory of the Christian journey through life, a wonderful read with a message kids ages 6 to 12 can understand and remember.
