Happy St. Patrick’s Day – don’t forget to wear green! Let’s celebrate together at Chickahominy Oaks Pavilion with a scavenger hunt. This is an event that will appeal to preschool and early elementary kids. Come join us as we follow clues leading us to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow (i.e. a small prize)! We'll also enjoy a St. Patrick's Day treat and story. Come dressed in as much green as you have! Fun for EVERYONE!

- What bad thing happened to the boy in the story?
- What did the people in Ireland believe about God?
- What did the boy do when he was lonely?
- What’s the deal with the shamrock?
The story ends with this pronouncement, he was “a great man who loved Ireland and loved God.” This story could easily lead into a talk about missions or loving our enemies.
