Kids Give Back Summer Camp 2012: TREASURE

Come join us as we have fun learning about things we treasure:  water, food, clothes, and new school supplies.  During our time together, children will be encouraged to give some of their treasures to The Link Niger: Wells & Water Program, Mechanicsville Christian Emergency Functions - Food Pantry, Boaz & Ruth's Sunny Days Thrift Store, and Northside Outreach Center.   Children will be hearing Bible stories throughout the week which will teach them that God is our greatest treasure .

Kids Give Back will be from July 9th - July 12th from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at New Hanover Presbyterian Church.  On Friday July 13th from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, we invite families to attend a special “Family Fun Friday” program where the children will show their families what they have learned all week.  Afterwards, we will enjoy a dessert social together!! Registration for Kids Give Back is greatly appreciated by June 30th in order to plan appropriately. There is no cost for the camp.  During the week of Kids Give Back we will ask for donations for The Link Niger, canned goods for the Food Pantry, gently used clothes for Sunny Days Thrift Store, and school supplies for Northside Outreach Center.   

We will have two Kids Give Back Clubs: One for Ages 3 – Rising Kindergarteners and one for Rising 1st graders – Rising 5th graders. We look forward to a fun week filled with music, games, skits, and stories from the Bible as children participate in exploring their treasures and how they can share them with others.
