Below are several activities happening on June 8th. 

• One of our youngest Sunday Community Classes (Sprouts) will be leading us in the Call to Worship with Psalm 23.  They have been working on memorizing Psalm 23 all year. 

Psalm 23 Hand Motions

(New King James Version)

The Lord is my shepherd. (point to self)

I shall not want. (shake finger back and forth as saying no)

He makes me to lie down in green pastures. (put palms together at one side of face)

He leads me beside still waters. (Make wavelike motions with hands)

He restores my soul. (Make muscles)

He leads me in the paths (walk in place)

 of righteousness for His name’s sake. (Point up)

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death (cup hands over eyes)

I will fear no evil; (hug self)

For you are with me. (point left and right)

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. (Cross fists in front of you)

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.  (Pretend to eat)

You anoint my head with oil. (Touch hands to head)

My cup runs over. (cup hands in front of you)

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life  (turn in a circle)

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Stretch arms up high)

• Grace Kids Worship team will be leading the congregation with 2 songs.  They will be encouraging the kids and parents to sing along together. 

• End of school year party!  Following the service children will be dismissed by their Sunday Community Classes. Then they will head outside to enjoy kickball, tag, jump rope, etc.  In addition we will have some yummy treats for the kids.  I hope they can join us!  We will take a break from Sunday Communities and Grace Kids Worship until September 7th.
