Memory Verses: Unit 1 Dwell Curriculum

MEMORY VERSES:  During 9/14 – 10/26 each class will be working on memorizing the following verses.  You may want to use this as an opportunity to memorize the verse with them.  J Memory Verse cards were handed out last Sunday.  Please place in a special spot as a reminder for your child to review daily.  Children will be learning the same verse in Children’s Worship and Sunday Communities.  

Memory Verse CELEBRATION:  Classes will be given a ballot on 10/19 and select from 3 choices.  Majority vote wins and will be announced for children to claim the reward on 10/26. 

Preschool Psalm 100: 1-2 “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.  Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.” 

Kindergarten & 1^st Grade   Psalm 100: 1-3 “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.  Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.  Know that the Lord is God.  It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.”

8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid.
