Shine the Light - 3 year old - Rising Kindergarten - Memory Verse

“Let your light shine in front of others.” Matthew 5:16

Hand Motions for Preschool class:

Let your light shine (hold pointer fingers up like candles)

In front of (point down at tip of toes)

Others. (point all around like pointing to your friends.)

Matthew 5:16 (hold your hands like an open book in front of you)

Chase the Light - Rising 1st grade - Rising 5th grade - Memory Verse

  “I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

Hand Motions for Elementary class:

I am the light  (hold pointer fingers up like candles)

of the world (make a circle with your hands)

Whoever follows me (use one hand to motion someone to follow you)

will never walk in darkness (walk in place and close eyes – briefly J)

but will have the light of life (hold pointer fingers up like candles and raise toward the sky)
