Coming this fall GCPC is offering a 10 week Parenting Study: Save the date: 10 week study of Paul David Tripp’s book Getting to the Heart of Parenting. Each week we will view a DVD session and then discuss what we’ve seen. Sessions are as follows: What is a Family?, Getting to the Heart of Behavior, and then remaining sessions look at ages of children. The study will be held on Friday evenings (beginning Sept 16) from 6:00-7:30pm. Childcare will be available for a nominal fee. Please RSVP to Julie (julie@gcpres.org or 389-1979) if you’re planning to attend so that adequate childcare workers can be found. Sessions will be held at Cool Spring Baptist Church. The Christian Counseling and Training Center is sponsoring a parenting seminar on Oct. 14-15 with Tedd Tripp called "Instructing A Child's Heart." He also wrote "Shepherding A Child's Heart." The seminar is in Stafford, VA. Check out the following link for registration details.
